alan, you are absolutely right with the close-up. many of my paintings are quite sizeable (this one: 47.2/62.9 inches), so the small photo doesn't really bring them to bear. thank you so much.

Wow what a lot of comments and completely justified. l love this image and would love to own it or a really large print as I think it would consume me. My sister is a artist who also works with Acrylics and her wor has a similiar feel. Now watching your work Thanks for sharing

These are great and they take me back to when I was a commercial scuba diver in Prince William sound. The first team of divers to harvest herring roe deposited on kelp. I was in the water when the herring came thru and ende up in the middle of their swarm. It looked much like your paintings The school separated around me and then reformed as the went past.
